Oswald Wholesale Lumber has been serving both retail and wholesale customers in the Southeast for over 40 years. We carry a complete line of quality lumber and building materials.
As a teenager, Jimmy E. Oswald worked for his father, the late Martin H. Oswald, at Twin City Lumber Company. In 1972, he founded Oswald Wholesale Lumber. The current business had a humble beginning in a small, one-room office in the back of his father’s business. Marie F. Leaphart began working for Jim’s father at Twin City Lumber Company in 1960 and she continues to be a vital part of Oswald Wholesale Lumber today.
Although the business was originally wholesale only, Oswald Wholesale lumber now serves both retail and wholesale customers with its team of 55 employees. Oswald can furnish building materials for virtually any size job. This includes small do-it-yourself projects, chicken house construction for the local poultry industry, and large-scale commercial developments such as apartments, churches, retirement homes, and schools. We have a fleet of vehicles and offer a flexible delivery schedule to meet the needs of our customers across the Southeast. We make daily deliveries from our Leesville, SC lumber yard to Aiken, Augusta, Columbia, and Lexington.
Oswald Wholesale Lumber is committed to serving not only its customers but also the surrounding communities. We proudly support the academic, arts, and athletic programs of our local schools. We also sponsor community events such as the South Carolina Poultry Festival. Oswald Wholesale Lumber is a member of the Carolinas AGC, Forest Stewardship Council, and Home Builders Association of South Carolina.
